WOYWW #354

Good morning everyone.  It's Wednesday and once again time for us to gather and show you what is on our work desk today.  Each week a group of crafters gets together and takes a picture of our space and blogs about it and then we gather and link at Julia's blog.  Once this is done we can visit each other and see what is going on in each other's world. Julia has the rules, regulations and instructions listed on her blog and you can visit there and have a look around.

This week has been a very busy week for me.

I'm having the lower deck torn off my house and a new one added!  The flooring has been purchased for 4 years and sitting in a building waiting for me to get someone to do it.  The existing decking was 25 years old and totally in terrible shape!  Those steps lead up to another deck and once this one is finished, I will have an awesome outdoor space!  The old hot tube was pulled off and it is going to a new home soon and I'm such a happy girl!

The dump trailer is full and hopefully will be off loaded today and then the hot tube leaves!  As you can see the grass is green and the little tint of pink in the upper right hand corner of the photo is a Red Bud tree getting ready to bloom. We have had lovely weather for about a week now!

Now I've shown you mine....show us yours!  I'm off to visit as many of you as I can!

Hi Glenda, our back garden is in mid-decking as well, it got started at the end of summer last year, then I was in hospital for 6 weeks, so Hubby had no time to work on it, then we've had winter. Now spring is finally arriving, it will get finished at last.Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #19xxx

Happy for you, projects undone bother me. And I usually have to wait also. I haven't really missed the upkeep of my hot tub. Hope the weather stays nice so you get things back in place and can enjoy it. Still in shock over Julia's health issues. Never can be too thankful for good health I guess. Hugs to you for a good week.

You will enjoy that lovely view more now from your new deck. It's always tough to have workmen around but at least they are outside with this project. Good luck and post a pic when it's all finished!

Oooh Glenda, how exciting having new decking! I hope you will post some photos once it is done. Thank you for your lovely comment. I managed to clear some junk out of the sitting room today but unfortunately our neighbour wasn't able to come and help my hubby move one of the chairs out so that will have to wait for a day or two. The electrician came today and we've had to rethink our lighting ideas but I still think it will be good.

Too busy and then too tired to do any music practice today but tomorrow is another day! My fingers are a lot less sore now.

Happy WOYWW,

Glenda, that is exactly what our deck needs: some TLC. My hubby has been talking about redoing it for years. Our steps are rickety I'm afraid to walk up and down them. It will be so awesome when finished and isn't it marvelous that spring is finally peeking out. Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, exciting stuff! It's time for me to concentrate on the garden. Beautiful today but wouldn't you know I had appointments and other things to do. Got a good taste of sunshine, though, and I'm loving it! Hope you'll show us your deck when it's finished.
